NBA 2K once again paid tribute to basketball legend Kobe Bryant. On Thursday, the company announced that the former No. 24 (and 8) of the Los Angeles Lakers will be featured on the cover of the "Mamba Forever" edition of NBA 2K21, which will be released next fall.
This marks a return to the gaming world for Kobe Bryant when he was on the cover of the NBA 2K10 game at the time and that of the “Legend” edition of NBA 2K17.
During his NBA career, Kobe Bryant played 1,346 games and averaged 25 points per game. He has won five NBA titles, in addition to receiving the MVP (player of the game) title for the Final twice and appearing in 18 All-Star Games.

In addition, 2K has announced that Portland Trail Blazers playmaker Damian Lillard will be on the cover of the
PS5 and Xbox Series version of NBA 2K21.
For Lillard, also known as Dame DOLLA (her rapper name), it was a childhood dream come true.
