Eenvoudig decoderen BPSK-31 op websdr Twente - on4cbn - 04-02-2013

PSK-31 is nog steeds populair.
Deze digitale mode neemt slechts 31 Hz bandwith in beslag.
Daardoor kan je met weinig vermogen en met eenvoudige antennes toch verre verbindingen maken (net zoals met CW).
PSK-31 kan je ook beluisteren en decoderen op de websdr van utwente.

Download en install deze soft : Fldigi
http://www.w1hkj.com/Fldigi.html
Kies fldigi-3.21.68 setup (Windows Setup)
Bij startup : vul je call, naam en QTH in (later zie je waarom)
Bij audio : vink PortAudio aan.
Capture : kies Microphone (of webcam Micro ...)
Playback : Speakers

Nadat het programma is opgestart kies je in het menu OpMode
voor : PSK en daarbinnen voor BPSK-31.
Wil je weten hoe dat klinkt : druk dan eens op de CQ>| knop.
Dit programma kan dus ook coderen !

Surf nu naar de websdr van utwente.
Zoek een amateurband op (bijvoorbeeld 20 meter)
Zoom Maximaal in (zoom in knop) en zet de mode op CW-narrow
Net boven 14.070 Mhz zie je smalle watervallen.
De kans is groot dat dit bpsk31 is.

Eens je goed afgestemd hebt hoor je een lange pieptoon.
Zet je microfoon dicht tegen je speakers (volume niet te luid zetten !)
stem ook af in het Fldigi programma door de 2 verticale rode lijntjes te verschuiven.
Na wat oefenen lukt het zeer snel en zelfs bij een zwak en zacht signaal zie je leesbare tekst in het bovenste venster.
